Back Bay Popup
Taken with a long telephoto lens, this image makes the John Hancock Tower, 500 Boylston and the other buildings of Back Bay look like they are from a popup book.

Path to the Sunset
This footbridge, which connects Charles St. to the Charles River Esplanade, has yielded some of my favorite Boston photos. Sadly, by the end of 2016 it will be gone, replaced by a new structure.
Back Bay Glow
This was an unexpected image, given that it had snowed in Boston all day. But about an hour before sunset, a weather front pushed all the clouds out to sea, creating this gorgeous sky.
This is the lobby of the Converse headquarters at Lovejoy Wharf in Boston. The door was locked, so I took the photo through the glass and caught a passing seagull against the cloudy sky.
After Snow Glow
It snowed all day, but the sky cleared just before sunset, producing these amazing reflected colors in the Charles.
Taken from the top of the Museum of Science parking garage, this image features the Charlesgate Yacht Club on the right and some of Back Bay's iconic buildings on the left. 2016 was an unusually warm winter - most years, the river wouldn't have this little ice.
Past and Present
The past is never far away in Boston.

One of the oldest buildings in Cambridge, Maseeh Hall is one of the most historic dormitories at MIT while at the same time being the newest dorm on campus. This is the building at the foot of the Harvard Bridge (Mass Ave).
